COMMUNITY OVERVIEW The single greatest achievement of a Dive Professional is to foster
passionate competent divers knowledgeable about the whole world of diving.
There is no better way to facilitate and encourage diving than to create a
real sense of community that divers enjoy plugging into. Whether your dive
community is your family, a group of friends, coworkers or other divers with
shared interests the group will facilitate and motivate you to keep diving
and expanding your skills and comfort underwater. Divers who do not
establish a community around the sport do not continue diving.
Dive Professionals facilitate community building by offering many diving
events catering to all skill levels and budgets to allow those with similar
interests to come together regularly. Getting out frequently is the single
most important ingredient in becoming a competent diver. In addition to
regular opportunities to get wet Dive Professionals also hosts regular
social events in the city to enjoy a good time together with your fellow
divers and meet new ones. Speakers and slide shows may be presented but the
most important goal of the events is to solidify and refresh diving
friendships, start planning the next dive adventure and have a great time!
