Dive Professionals offers scuba diving classes tailored specifically for companies. The Dive Professionals corporate program is
multifaceted to provide something for everybody ranging from those who wish to stay dry to experienced divers. Our corporate program
is multifaceted and is designed to motivate, refresh, reward and energize employees.
Team Building
Scuba Diving is both an individual accomplishment and a team experience. Diving in groups and with a dive 'buddy' is great for team
building and establishing trust and camaraderie that last long after the dive. Scuba diving can bring people together from different
departments and divisions as well as deepen personal relationships with partners, customers and suppliers. Scuba Diving can be a
family event that includes everybody from spouses to children. Youngsters can learn to snorkel while older children can also become
active divers.
Stress Relief
Scuba Diving is a wonderful sport that captures peoples' imaginations. It removes them from their current mindset and completely frees
their thoughts and imagination. When floating weightless, a person's mind and body relax, movements slow down and deep breathing
sooths the spirit. Concentrating on new experiences gives the mind a rest from everyday worries and permits a renewed focus after
diving.
Customized Scuba Programs
Dive Professionals can customize a scuba diving program for your company that may include the following:
- Business Adrenaline - Inspiration for the Corporate Adventurer
Adventure Sports provide many lessons for the business world from planning, to collaboration, teamwork, dealing with risk and keeping
perspective on success. Graham Dickson, PADI Master Instructor and Founder of Arctic Kingdom Marine Expeditions - the world's premiere
arctic animal adventure company, will provide an enthralling and motivating discussion linking adventure sports and business success
and will then introduce Dive Professionals and the company's scuba program.
- Experience Scuba Evening
All employees and, at the company's discretion, their family members may attend a single night in a local pool to experience scuba
diving. No course is required prior to trying scuba and there is no commitment to continue with a full course.
- Open Water Scuba Classes
The Open Water scuba diving class provides the training necessary for people to dive anywhere around the world. After successfully
completing the course, participants will receive an internationally recognized certification card from PADI (Professional Association
of Diving Instructors).
Multiple open water classes may be organized for individual departments or across divisions and may include employees of partners,
suppliers, customers or employee family members.
The standard open water class consists of three to five academic sessions where the theory is covered. The exact number of classes
will depend upon the size of the group, the amount of reading done prior to class and the length of the class. There are also three
to five pool sessions where students will learn all of the necessary diving skills. Following the completion of the academic and pool
skills, students must complete two days of open water diving which we can organize as local dive weekend, a long weekend tropical
getaway or can be completed independently anywhere around the world through a PADI dive centre.
- Advanced Classes
Most companies will already have some active divers who would be interested to dive more regularly and acquire new skills. Classes
beyond the open water level can be offered to divers who are already certified and to new divers after they have completed the open
water class. The advanced class offers a great experience to a wide range of areas within scuba and provides a fun way to try many
different kinds of diving. Subsequent specialty classes such as photography, drysuit diving or many others may be taught as well as
Rescue Diver and even Dive Master for employees who may wish to take on increasing responsibilities within the company scuba program.
- Weekend Trips
The Dive Professional program is focused on getting people diving. Regardless of whether employees are already certified and
experienced divers or new to the sport and participating in the Open Water course, it is our highest priority to organize events
that will attract as many people from the company as possible to enjoy the sport together. Water cooler talk will never be the same!

Pricing
Pricing depends upon how many courses are run and how many people participate. A company may wish to subsidize some portion or all of
the program cost as a perk, bonus or performance incentive. Please contact us for additional information.
Scheduling
All classes and activities are scheduled around regular working hours. Dates and times are completely flexible to suit each business
and will be confirmed prior to the start of the course. The normal times for courses are over lunchtime or after work in the evening.
Classes in the morning before work are also possible as are weekend classes.
