EQUIPMENT OVERVIEW
Diving is an equipment intensive sport and top quality equipment
greatly increases a diver's safety and comfort. Selecting equipment that is best suited to the types of diving and aspirations of
each diver is important to make the investment in scuba equipment one that lasts for many years. Whether you are an occasional local
diver, a regular local advanced diver, a technical diver, a tropical diver or some combination of these will all affect what equipment
you should consider. Ensuring a proper fit for each person is essential and selecting the best diving equipment will make the
experience enjoyable, easy, comfortable and one that you'll want to do regularly. As the primary goal of Dive Professionals is to
foster an enthusiasm for diving that keeps people diving regularly, we believe that the choice of equipment is a vital element.
As part of all of our courses, we will cover related equipment and discuss the choices, trade offs and make recommendations towards
what we think you should consider based upon your budget, diving experience and future plans. We also provide recommendations on
equipment specialized to specific types of dive environments you will encounter on each of our trips.
